Why Does It Have To Be So Difficult

So, I am very frustrated. I have been trying to get stuff together and in order but no. Despite my efforts, plans are changed out from under me. No call to inform me. Priorities are skewed. Its cool the bride will get over it. I have 50 days to go and Scott has no ring. His tux is back ordered. I have to come up with $2500 for the honeymoon. and I just have to deal. I have to be crazy to love this world I am in.

I am so excited!!!

So I am so excited! Today I had my final cake tasting with Juanita at Dulce Desserts. I have decided on lemon cake, lemon curd and fresh strawberries. Juanita is going to do an amazing yellow and platinum design. I can't wait to see it! Also, I spoke with Gipsy and she is interested in featuring the event design. I am so happy and excited to see what we can create!

Found the Dress!

SO it has been a little while but good news. I finally found the dresses for the bridesmaids. Woo Hoo! I have found pale yellow 1950 vintage dresses that are from a company in Cali. Check it out WWW.unique-vintage.com. It is awesome! I can't wait to see them on everyone.

Also, We booked our honeymoon today! Yeah. We decided to venture to Jamaica for a week. I really look forward to some time away. The flight is going to interesting considering I have never been on a plane. But in all seriousness, I am very excited!

Lovely Day at the Dentist!

I forgot to mention that on top of all the craziness, I had to get 3 fillings yesterday! It was no fun at all. I have never had any cavities and was pretty upset that I went for a standard cleaning and came out with 3 fillings. So, I went in yesterday afternoon thinking that this was an in and out kind of thing. Well, 9 shots in the mouth, 3 fillings, and 2 1/2 hours later I was done. My face was so numb that I looked like I just had a stroke. I know that is terrible to say but it is true. I tried to smile and one side would go up and the other would go even further down. Now that I think about it, the whole thing was pretty funny.

What a crazy day!

Woo. It has been one of those weeks where you think your head will spend around. I have had meetings all morning and now that I have a free minute to catch up on my emails and orders, my computer decides to shut down. Well, I guess it is a blessing in a way. I have had no time to do any wedding stuff of my own.
Currently, I am trying to set up a time for our engagement pics, bridal shower, and groom's shower. Yes, I am throwing Scott a man shower with BBQ and lots of fun man stuff. I think I am going to have them on the same day so he won't be stuck at home bored while I am out having a party. I just want this whole experience to be as much fun for him as it is for me. It is about us in the end! I can't wait to be Mrs. Stinson.

Yellow and gray!

So, I have changed my color scheme and I am so much happier! Originally, I had planned to go with black,yellow, and green. Now I am planning on black,gray, and yellow. I am so excited to pull everything together. I have decided to have the guys in gray and the ladies will be in yellow. So pretty.

Dresses, Dresses, Dresses!

So, today I have taken on the great task of finding my bridesmaid dresses. Who would have thought that it is so hard to find a cute pale yellow dress. I hate the typical bridesmaid dresses so I am in the search for something cute that they can wear again. I did decide to go with a yellow, gray, and black maxi dress for two of my girls but the other two need something to wear as well. I have look at Anthropologie. Express. Banana Republic etc. I just don't seem to be having any luck. Any suggestions?
